O-Week is widely regarded as the most important time of the year - it is when you meet heaps of new people and make the friends who will often stay with you for life. Don't miss it! Apart from this great opportunity to meet new people, O-Week also provides the chance for the odd "Heritage Stroll" or "Tour de Beverage" around campus, and a few great nights on the town.

M-ASS would like to stress that M-ASS events are open to all - especially our orientation events!

O-Week: Tuesday 20 - Friday 23 February

M-ASS O-Week Events kick off on Tuesday 20 February, with a free BBQ for all Arts Students on South Lawn, run in conjunction with the Faculty of Arts. The BBQ will begin around 12:30pm, after the Dean's Welcome.

On Thursday 22 February, M-ASS memberships are available at South Lawn. O-Camp tickets also go on sale at 9:30am! Both come with complimentary snow cone or fairy floss. Make sure you get in quickly - O-Camp tickets are sold on a strictly first-come first-served basis! Last year tickets sold out within an hour.

On Thursday from 8pm, M-ASS is holding an O-Week Party at Kingpin Melbourne Central. $14 gets you one free game of bowling (including shoe hire), one pot (of beer!)/basic spirit/house wine/soft drink on arrival, free pool and Happy Hour prices all night! Arrive early, as the first 100 people will only pay $12 each (and anyone arriving after 9pm will be unable to bowl)! This will be followed by a afterparty at Billboard Nightclub (from 11:30pm). For only $5 (on presentation of a fantastic M-ASS Keyring) you will get priority entry (no queues) into Billboard and get a free pot!

Friday 23 February will be another opportunity to get your membership or O-Camp ticket (if any remain) from the M-ASS stand at South Lawn.

Week 1: Monday 26 February - Friday 2 March

On Wednesday 28 February (the Wednesday of the first week of semester), M-ASS will be holding yet another M-ASSive BBQ at South Lawn. As usual, food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be free for all members! The BBQ will commence around 12:30pm and wrap up around 2:30pm. Get there early to avoid disappointment!

O-Camp 2006: Friday 2 - Sunday 4 March

The annual M-ASS Orientation Camp will take place again in 2007! Camp is undoubtedly the best way to meet new people and make new friends - or even more than friends! ;) There will be several interesting activities during the day (for those with the energy to get up), and at night the fun really begins.
