Have a click around and we hope to see you at our next event! ESSAY COMP, ARTS BALL & OPEN DAY! Wednesday 13th saw a M-ASSive launch BBQ for the 2008 Get Your Game On ARTS BALL. Tickets are still available, I repeat: ARTS BALL TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE! Make your sweet way over to the M-ASS office (where the old arts quad meets South Lawn) to purchase your ticket, a table of ten maybe just entry to the after-party if you're short on rupees. Also hugely successful on Wednesday was the Essay Competition Awards Ceremony. A classy, classy evening it was, complete with novelty check and a few glasses of bubbles. The final results can be viewed on our Education page. Melbourne Uni Open Day is on this Sunday and M-ASS will be out in force with a mega-BBQ and nifty photo board to display our magnificence to all. If you are a potential student, keep your eye out for the black and yellow ASS, friendly beverage-wielding m-assites will be ready for a friendly chat! GET YOUR GAME ON!!! That's right fellow students lovers of happy fun times, its Ball Season again! (no pun intended, however there may be a slight and obscure Clueless reference in there somewhere). This year the Arts Ball is themed in the tremendously magical fashion of 'Get Your Game On' and shall take place at the Sebel on September 4th. We at M-ASS recognise that for the many a loveable nerd amongst you, to miss out on this fantastical cornucopia of Links, Marios, Pikachus, Master Chiefs and Twister Mats would simply break your heart and spray the particles into a fine bloody mist - and we just couldn't have that now could we! So on Wednesday the 13th August we shall hold the awesome of all BBQs to launch the Ball and start selling tickets. Make sure you are there early (starts at 1pm) to line up and get some free food/drinks on us! Bring your donkey keyring and gaming thumbs! WELCOME BACK! Semester two is upon us at last, which mean....more fun happy times from M-ASS! Tickets to M-ASS GOES TO THE TROTS are on sale now from the arts office (located in the Old Arts Quad) and are only $20. Also coming up next week the Careers & Employment chaps are holding an Employment Experience Fair (5th August) in Wilson Hall from 12.00 – 4.00 pm. Employers attending this event will be offering a variety of work experience opportunities such as vacation work, internships and cooperative employment opportunities. That's right friends, we have received our final entries for the essay comp and are now getting our examination on! The Awards Ceremony will be super-duper fun (it's at 5pm on August 13th at the Ian Potter Museum of Art) and we'd love to see all of our entrants there! M-ASS NEWSFLASH - ESSAY COMP OPEN NOW! That's right! Entries for our inaugural Essay Competition opened on Monday and you have until June 27th to submit your delicious academic triumphs for consideration. M-ASS NEWSFLASH - M-ASS VS SSS FESTIVALE! (MAY 1ST)
Thats right the boys in the Activities Office, Mo & Simo, have provided us with 750L of Jelly Slime, so SSS and M-ASS members bring some bathers and get ready to get slimey to settle the score! There will be boat races! (girls v. girls etc...)

M-ASS NEWSFLASH - M-ASS VS SSS DEBATE!
The combined power of the SSS and M-ASS brings you the first of three competitive events to be held across uni this semester. Three speakers from each society will do their best to convince (and entertain) you followed by question's from the audience. Prizes for best speaker and best audience question will be awarded by the adjudicators, which will include a member of staff from each faculty.
